A place where good food, excellent service, hospitality, and quality drinks take centre stage. This magnificent venue is where the entire neighbourhood loves to spend their free time! For De Groene Olifant, we are looking for an independently working chef who has an affinity with creating and developing great dishes, aspires to grow within the organisation, and above all, is a huge team player. 

Job Description 
  • Leading and directing your team; 

  • Ultimate responsibility for the quality and consistency of the kitchen; 

  • Coordinating and organising the work performance in the kitchen; 

  • Keeping track of purchasing and stock in the kitchen; 

  • Motivating, encouraging, and correcting when necessary; 

  • Receiving and checking orders; 

  • Cleaning the work environment; 

  • Responsibility for identifying special features and malfunctions in the work environment; 

  • Being cost-conscious, effective, and efficient in work; 

  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations; 

  • Responsible for HACCP. 

Who are you? 
  • Proven experience in the kitchen; 

  • Affinity with world cuisine, creative mindset; 

  • Good communication skills; 

  • You have a love for the hospitality industry; 

  • Positive attitude; 

  • Ensures a pleasant working atmosphere; 

  • Team player.
