In the middle of the Amstelplein lies Café Blooker, the beautiful old-style house between the skyscrapers on the Amstelplein. Among the business guests a real concept! We are open Monday through Friday for lunch, drinks, and dinner and available for rent on weekends for parties and events. We completely renovated Café Blooker in the summer of 2022 and gave it a new look, carefully crafted our menu, and strive to surprise our guests in a positive way from early morning to evening with quality, excellent service, and unique combinations that truly tempt you to slip away from the office.

We are now looking for an independent working cook to strengthen our kitchen team and run the concept together with the chef. Someone who has passion, is eager to contribute ideas about specials, and is creative enough to convey the "wow-factor" to our guests.

Job Description

• You work closely with the kitchen team

• You are responsible for the quality and consistency of our products

• You coordinate and manage kitchen operations

• You keep track of purchasing and stock management

• You receive and check the orders

• You are responsible for maintaining a clean work environment

• You work cost-consciously, effectively, and efficiently

• You ensure compliance with safety and HACCP regulations
