In the heart of the bustling KNSM Island, amidst a mix of modern architecture and historic charm, sits KANIS, an authentic warm eatery. It is a beautiful location by the water, where you can dock your boat at the jetty. The spacious south-facing terrace is the ideal spot to enjoy a drink and a snack in the sun. At KANIS, we are not only a daytime venue for lunch and cosy drinks, but also an eatery where you can enjoy our frequently changing International dinner menu daily.

From January 2024, we have taken over this establishment and will continue with the concept. At the end of February, we undertook major renovations to improve the bar and kitchen, to work more efficiently and, importantly, to make KANIS look even more beautiful.

We are looking for experienced and less experienced staff for behind the bar and in service. You will ensure that the guests of KANIS can enjoy a perfect experience. You radiate hospitality and joy and love to interact with people. Furthermore, you keep a cool head in stressful situations and strive for perfection.

• Making it a fun workday with your team; 

• Facilitating explanations about the menu; 

• Taking orders; 

• Preparing drinks; 

• Setting and clearing tables; 

• Serving dishes and drinks; 

• Ensuring that the standards of KANIS are upheld and that guests leave with a good feeling; 

• Creating a pleasant atmosphere that is also felt by all guests.   

Who are you? 

• Experience in hospitality is a plus; 

• You are enthusiastic, flexible, and a true team player; 

• You always have a hospitable attitude; 

• Your goal is to give each guest their dream evening; 

• You are available at least 2 days; 

• You have a love for the hospitality industry.
