We are the cosiest living room of Amsterdam-East, Cafe Fest located on the Wibauthof. Our industrial chic design offers various possibilities for our guests, mostly students; studying/working at your own desk, lounging on the sofa after attending a lecture, or beer-ponging on one of our wooden tables. A second home, that is what we want to be for the students and staff of the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. A place where development and connection are made possible, for both guests and staff.
We are looking for experienced and less experienced staff for behind the bar and in service. You ensure that the guests of Café Fest can enjoy a perfect experience. You exude hospitality and fun and love interacting with people. Additionally, you keep your cool in stressful situations and always strive for perfection.
Job Description
Creating a fun working day together with your team;
Facilitating explanations of the menu;
Taking orders;
Preparing drinks;
Setting and clearing tables;
Serving dishes and drinks;
Checking out;
Ensuring that the standards of Café Fest are maintained and that guests leave with a positive feeling;
Creating a pleasant atmosphere that is also felt by all guests.
Who are you?
Experience in hospitality is a plus;
You are enthusiastic, flexible, and a true team player;
You always have a hospitable attitude;
Your goal is to give every guest their dream evening;
You live in or around Amsterdam;
You are available at least 2 days
You have a love for hospitality.
