LELY exudes energy! Besides delicious dishes and an extensive drinks menu, there's a good chance you'll meet new people with us. Our doors are open to everyone from early in the morning until late at night, which is why we have a carefully curated menu ready for every time of the day. The kitchen team works creatively with delicious fresh ingredients, so even the classics are transformed into a surprising masterpiece on your plate.
We are looking for a chef who has an affinity for further developing the organisation and the menu, is creative and not afraid to bring crazy products from different continents onto a plate and, above all, is a huge team player! Together with the current team, you will be responsible for developing the menu, managing the numbers and the daily operation.
The role;
Leading and directing your team, you are a true team player;
Creating & designing the quarterly changing menu;
Working closely with manager(s) on the shop floor;
(Final) responsibility for the quality and consistency of the kitchen;
Keeping track of purchasing and stock in the kitchen;
Receiving and checking orders;
Ultimately responsible for keeping the work environment clean;
Responsibility for identifying peculiarities and defects in the work environment;
Cost-conscious, effective and efficient work;
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations;
Responsible for HACCP.
Who are you?
Proven management experience in the kitchen, at least 2 years;
Full-time available (4-day working week negotiable);
Affinity with world cuisine, creative mindset;
Responds to trends in the current market;
Good communication skills;
You have a love for hospitality;
Positive attitude & you ensure a pleasant working atmosphere;
SVH diploma;
Being a teacher is a plus, otherwise the desire to become a teacher.
