LELY exudes energy! Besides delicious dishes and an extensive drinks menu, there's a good chance you'll meet new people with us. Our doors are open to everyone from early in the morning until late at night, which is why we have a carefully curated menu ready for every time of the day. The kitchen team works creatively with delicious fresh ingredients, so even the classics are transformed into a surprising masterpiece on your plate.

We are looking for a chef who has an affinity for further developing the organisation and the menu, is creative and not afraid to bring crazy products from different continents onto a plate and, above all, is a huge team player! Together with the current team, you will be responsible for developing the menu, managing the numbers and the daily operation.

The role;
  • Leading and directing your team, you are a true team player;

  • Creating & designing the quarterly changing menu;

  • Working closely with manager(s) on the shop floor;

  • (Final) responsibility for the quality and consistency of the kitchen;

  • Keeping track of purchasing and stock in the kitchen;

  • Receiving and checking orders;

  • Ultimately responsible for keeping the work environment clean;

  • Responsibility for identifying peculiarities and defects in the work environment;

  • Cost-conscious, effective and efficient work;

  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations;

  • Responsible for HACCP.

Who are you?
  • Proven management experience in the kitchen, at least 2 years;

  • Full-time available (4-day working week negotiable);

  • Affinity with world cuisine, creative mindset;

  • Responds to trends in the current market;

  • Good communication skills;

  • You have a love for hospitality;

  • Positive attitude & you ensure a pleasant working atmosphere;

  • SVH diploma;

  • Being a teacher is a plus, otherwise the desire to become a teacher.
