HR Trainee Vacancy

For Bartel, we are looking for a full-time HR trainee who can assist in managing and optimising our HR department.

Within our organisation, which consists of five (and soon to be six) locations, approximately 150 full-timers and casual workers are employed. Over the past year, we have been working hard on standardising our processes, establishing an employee journey, and implementing an internal academy to give all our staff the opportunity to continue developing. In addition, we are actively engaged in offering a wide range of benefits through a community manager to keep our staff motivated. The aim of these processes is to enhance the quality of our teams, reduce staff turnover, and increase overall employee satisfaction.

We are now looking for an active HR trainee to work alongside the HR manager, assisting with these processes and contributing to their optimisation where necessary. Additionally, you will be a point of contact for colleagues regarding various daily administrative HR matters.

What will you do?
  • As an HR trainee, you will work closely with the HR manager in developing, managing, and optimising the above processes;

  • You will manage the recruitment process;

  • You will collaborate and brainstorm with the HR manager about the entire personnel policy;

  • You will attend meetings with business leaders and the HR Manager;

  • You will handle the inflow, through-flow, and outflow of employees;

  • You will take on several administrative HR tasks;

Who are you?
  • You are an HBO student;

  • You are proactive and flexible;

  • You have worked for years in the hospitality industry and have an affinity for this field;

  • You are confident and have no problem giving your opinion on policy;

  • You are creative and think along with the possibilities.
